Going Green

During this half term holiday, we have welcomed volunteers from a wide range of places to kick start the rejuvenation of the KS1 garden. 

Staff from Wilkinsons, participants on the Princes Trust, staff from Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife and the Leicester Eco-Schools have raked, dug, removed and tidied a large unused area of our school grounds in order for us to develop our work on ecology.

There is still a little to do, but with our Eco-Committee in place and a parents and family volunteering day on the horizon, I'm sure we'll get these key areas of the school looking fabulous.
