Farms and Boxes in the Nursery

This week our F1 children have been talking about farms. The children have learnt the names of the different farm animals and the sounds they make. The children have also enjoyed exploring and role playing in their own very 'farm shop' with real food. 

They also had lots of fun when we placed a BIG empty box in ourF1 classroom. The children were facinated by it and loved using a range of materials, skills, imagination and language to create their own "Castle", "Cave", "Puppet theatre", "Barn" and "House".
