Gate Times

A quick reminder about our gate times.

From the start of the new half term, the gates to the school will not open until 8:35am. As you will agree, the current practice of opening the site at 7:00am does leave the school grounds vulnerable. Furthermore, children will no longer need to wait on the playground to line up with their class. Instead, they will enter the school straight away through the door currently allocated to their year group at 8:45am when the doors open.

These changes will allow children to start the day in a calm and orderly manner and, I hope, reassure parents that children who do make their own way to school are no longer waiting in the playground in all weathers.

Children who attend our Breakfast Club will enter the site through the gate opposite the main reception of the school and parents will need to escort their child or children to the entrance of the dining hall. I’m sure you will agree, the safety of children on our premises is of key importance. Thank you in advance for your support.
