End of term message

Posted on: 23/03/2018

Dear parents and carers,

It’s hard to imagine that we are now at the end of the Spring term and the Easter holidays are just around the corner. We’ve had our fair share of ice and snow this month so hopefully the sunshine won’t take too long to make an appearance.

As you can imagine, as the new principal to the school, this half term I have been learning so much about the children, the school and, importantly, getting to know our families. One of the key moments for me was meeting and speaking to you all at our recent parents evenings.

Working with yourselves in developing our school further is a key ambition of mine, and to support that, at the start of every new term, I will be hosting a principal’s presentation. These informal events will allow me to share with you, the key areas of development for the school, moments and areas of celebration and, more importantly, give you the opportunity to share ideas about how we can improve the school even further.

The first principal’s presentation will take place on Thursday 19th April at 3:30pm and again at 5:30pm. If you do wish to attend, a reply slip will be shared with children on the first day back of the new term.

Until then, may I take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy Easter and I look forward to meeting with you in the summer term. - Mr Edwards
