EID - Everyone's Welcome at Woodstock

This week we have been learning about what happens during Ramadan and how EID is celebrated. Some children and adults brought in pictures and items that are important to them to show their classes whilst others made Fanoos lanterns and made Eid cards to give the children who were celebrating before they left for their celebration day. 

On Friday afternoon, we decorated our classrooms and had sweet treats to celebrate Eid together. The children loved hearing how their friends had celebrated Eid and asked lots of great questions. It was great to see everyone from all cultures come together to share the experience!
