Year 4 Submarine Experiment

Year 4 investigated how submarines sink by increasing the pressure in water bottles through squashing the air bubble inside the straw. This increases its density and makes it sink. When the bottle is released, the air bubble expands again and its density decreases making it rise. We then constructed our own circuits including a motor and propeller to use in our own bottle submarines.
