Year 4's trip to Leicester Museum

Year 4 loved exploring Leicester Museum and art gallery today. They learnt some exciting facts about the Ancient Egyptians and were really excited to see real Mummies! The children were able to  see the most important collection of ancient Egyptian objects in the East Midlands along with the galleries featuring four mummified ancient Egyptians and contain figurines, canopic jars and fragments of the Book of the Dead to shed light on how the ancient Egyptians viewed death and the afterlife.
