F1 Celebrations and Diwali

This week in F1, we have been talking about the different festivals we celebrate. We enjoyed learning about Diwali and doing lots of different Diwali activities in the class and learning new words. We tasted poppadums and mango chutney, we build our fine motor skills filling and emptying rice and lentils, played with sparkly playdough got creative making sparklers and used PVA and coloured powder to make our own rangoli patterns and sticking the different lentils. We did rangoli mark making in glitter, we dressed up in traditional Indian clothes and made rockets using wooden blocks.
