80th VE Day Anniversary Celebrations

We've been celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day this week at Woodstock. All year groups learnt about VE Day and the history behind during afternoon curriculum time whilst also learning a year group song:

EYFS, Year 1 & Year 2: Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy
Year 3 & Year 4: The White Cliffs of Dover
Year 5 & Year 6: We’ll Meet Again

Today, we had a whole school picnic where all children were provided with a pack up and the children performed the songs to each other.
