F1 Goldilocks and the Three Bears

In our F1 class for the past two weeks, we have been reading the story 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. The children have had so much fun enjoying all the activities around the classroom. The children have tasted porridge with different toppings. Learnt the size language big, medium and small. Learnt to count 1 to 3 and recognise the numerals. Created paw prints using potatos, did some bear threading, used bear cutters on the playdough table. Our home corner has been the Three Bears house with 3 different sized bowls and spoons, chairs and beds, with different sized bears to recreate the story. In the book corner we have had the puppet theatre for children to use masks and props to retell the story. We are going to end our topic making bear bread, with chocolate, bananas for the bears ears and raisings for the eyes.
