West Leicester Basketball

On Wednesday 18^th January 10 children from year 5 and 6 joined 32 other schools in a Leicester wide Basketball tournament.  In our heat 6 schools competed against each other to go through to a West Leicester semi-finial.  We played 3 games with great commitment, enthusiasm and skill.  Our first game was very close losing 5-7, we lost our second game but came through to win our finale games 4-2!  We can joint 3 and won the Spirit of the Games, an award for the school that was friendly, team focused, supportive of other teams and really tried to win.
