F1 Halloween

This week we have been learning new words through the topic 'Halloween'. The children have loved this topic! We have been dressing up in different Halloween costumes, building up our gross/fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination using hammers and golf tees on pumpkins. We have been making playdough spiders, where the children have to accurately place eight legs. We have had a Halloween homecorner with grubs as food, carving and scooping pumpkins in our water tray, counting Halloween objects on our maths table and getting creative making spiders and pumpkins on our creative table. Outdoors we have dressed up as witches and had a broom stick race and played pumpkin hockey and made potions in the water tray.
